CTRWOD began in 2001 and were based in Charlotte, NC . The band was comprised of ex-members of the band Mitchell which included Lee (guitar), Russell (second CTRWOD drummer) & Cameron (original CTRWOD bassist). The band broke up the first half of 2004 after recording their never released full-length album that had been planned to be released on the label operated by John Rash / Slave Magazine from Greensboro, NC.

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
